A Greater Homeland.

War is not so funny

It is violent and grim

It leaves the heart heavy

And the period in slime

The General calls for more

Men to sacrifice in battle

And the blood flows from gore

Explosions make dead teeth rattle

Wives wait until widowed

Girls pray their boy will live

Mothers cry for their endowed

Fathers feel the risks they brave

Government leaders stay secure

Making more and spending more

Religion and-or politics for sure

Contribute to the battle, however obscure.
