A poem by: Ben Dunk. June 2-3 1979
WHEREAS
Savage your breast in hunger
See the confines of subjugation
Banish all hope of tomorrow
And you may perceive the unjust body
Detained in prison
And what ‘bitterness’ ariseth
Out of the vicioused heart
Cleaving the mind from compassion
Rending the soul from brotherly communion
…..and why not; how else does change impart? One asks
But, it doth not!
So, rise up, the sane and free in surreptitious harmony
Clamour for brand new relations of truth
Exposure of affiliations secret
And, unquestionable impartial justice.
